Our Robusta Kopi Luwak come from West Lampung region in Southern part of Sumatra.
The coffee trees generally grown at an altitude of 400-700 meters above sea level with temperature of 21-24oC.
Incidentally, Lampung region has such a natural condition suitable for the type of Robusta. Robusta coffee plantations have also been developed in many areas of Lampung province, especially in the region of West Lampung, both in government-run, private, and non-government. Special plantations owned by non-governmental organizations are mostly located in upland areas of Tanggamus.
Featured with the distinctive aroma and flavor, Lampung coffee is chosen as one of the best coffees in Indonesia. In 2009, West Lampung Coffee earned as a national champion with the category of best quality coffee beans. Of course, these achievements motivated the Lampung coffee industries in West Lampung to produce better coffee and improve social life of the local community as well.
Lampung coffee is different from the other coffees. Black, bitter, and slightly sour are the main distinctive characteristics that can easily be recognizable. It is tastier and flavorful as the fertilization process does not use chemical fertilizers and pesticides, but uses the coffee leaves that fell and the grass that grew underneath, and sometimes uses manure from animal waste.
How to serve Kopi Luwak Robusta coffee accurately depends on the water temperature. The water must be boiled to reach 100oC and poured into a glass that is filled with coffee without sugar. Do not stir, but add one teaspoon and then stir. Once tried and felt less sweet, add more sugar gradually according to our taste.
